The Allegro Chorale is pleased to announce its 10th annual Choral Festival, which will take place on August 22-27. This unique experience allows singers at all levels to come together in the evenings for one week and rehearse two standards of the choral repertoire and perform them with orchestra at the end of the week! This year we will be performing Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, KV 339 by Mozart and Dark Night of the Soul by modern-day composer Ola Gjeilo. We are excited to announce that our Featured Conductor is Mr. Michael D Matlock who is the Head Choir Director at Andrews High School.

We will rehearse Monday, August 22nd through Friday, August 26th from 7-9:30 PM in Mason Hall in the choir room at Permian High School. The festival will culminate in a concert event in Rea-Greathouse Recital Hall at the Wagner Noël Performing Arts Center on Saturday, August 27th at 7 PM.

There is a small $20 fee for all participants, except for students, which will pay for your music and supplies for the festival.  You will keep your Dark Night of the Soul score!  This fee will be collected at our first rehearsal on Monday, August 22nd.  Cash or check will be accepted.  If paying by check, please make the check out to Allegro Chorale.
